Certified Driving Instruction
Sturgeon Driver Training is a locally owned and operated business.  We are fully licensed and regulated by Alberta Transportation, and our classroom and in-car instructors are fully qualified and certified by the Alberta government. Our vehicles are all new model Chevrolet Cruzes , which are professionally equipped for driver training. Participants who successfully complete the Driving Essentials Course receive a Notice of Driver Education Course Completion Certificate which qualifies them for reduced insurance rates.

Experienced Instructors

When it comes to our team, we at Sturgeon Driver Training, insist on setting precedence. Our top priority is our students and their well-being. Our team members, whether in the classroom or out on the road have the same principles and are all dedicated and well-educated in the art of coaching our students to reach their full potential!

Interactive Classroom Courses

The classroom portion of our course consists of 15 hours of professional instruction completed over two days.  Projects and assignments are completed in small groups in our roomy and comfortable learning environment.

Full-Range In-Vehicle Lessons

With our in-vehicle lessons, we are able to meet the scheduling and completion date requests of most students. The course itself includes defensive driving strategies, city driving, as well as highway driving.  

Lower Car Insurance

The Notice of Driver Education Completion Certificate provides proof of successful completion of and graduation from an Alberta Government approves course and is widely recognized by the insurance industry as proof of course completion.
